Wisdom at Your Fingertips
Sometimes we just need a quick jump start to the day, and that’s where WIZE comes in. There are a lot of Bible apps out there, but what about something different: an app that could bring daily quotes right to your phone with words of wisdom from True Parents? Faith Fusion, an on-line faith community with something new to offer, decided it was time to do just that.
Faith Fusion’s latest tool is an app named WIZE and you can view it on any phone or tablet. If you have an Android device, download the app from either the Google Play Store (plug WIZE into the search feature), or directly from fanapp.mobi/wize. If you have an Apple device, go to http://fanapp.mobi/wize and click on the “View HTML5 App” button; this will run WIZE in your browser. Bookmark it, so it’ll always be just a click away. (WIZE is not yet in the Apple store, but developers are creating an iPhone-specific app.)
Once you’ve got the app onscreen, click on Daily Quote to access words of inspiration from True Parents. The quotes are a quick read and focus on ideas that support our journey to realize the Three Blessings. There will be a new quote every day that emphasizes practical, spiritual growth.
The Weekly Quotes feature offers wisdom from faith traditions of the world as well as other thoughtful people on a themed topic, related to Faith Fusion’s weekly message. You’ll never run short of inspiration with weekly quotes at your fingertips. The app has other convenient features, such as a link to our website and book recommendations.
God speaks to us in many ways. An anonymous yet favorite mini-message that has been circulating online reads, “It’s always OK in the end, so if it’s not OK, it’s not the end.” That quote has helped people go the distance through tough times. Other app users would love to see your quote too. The Your Quote button takes you to a page where you can upload your own favorite quote to share with others.
True Father’s words are powerful revelations of the depth of his heart. In his speeches he sometimes candidly shares about his life, the challenges he faced and the things he learned. Listeners and readers of his words find themselves in awe of who he is and the depth of his understanding about God and life. Many credit a lot of their internal stamina to the wisdom he shared in his many sermons.
Our hearts are shaped in part by ideas and words. For words or truth to become integrated into our lives we have to discover their relevance and application. When we act on truthful words we discover how they can manifest in our lives in unique ways, with the goal of “becoming the Word.” Let WIZE power your journey.
Try it today and let us know what you think. No excuses; get WIZE!
