Background
Juanita Pierre-Louis was born in Cartersville, Georgia, USA, December 18,1948. She joined the Unification Movement in 1978, in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, she also graduated from the Unification Theological Seminary, with a Masters focused on Interfaith Peace Building and is presently a candidate for the Doctorate of Ministry.
After joining the movement in Atlanta, Georgia, she became a Home Church leader and moved on to Boston, MA, to become a community leader from 1979-1981 . She served as the Pastor for the Harlem Family Church in New York between 1997-2001, 2005-2008, and in 2013 to the present. She was an organizer and leader with the CAUSA Movement and the International Conference for the Clergy. She also served as Vice-President of General Affairs for the New York chapter of Women’s Federation for World Peace. She presently serves as National Vice-President of WFWP from 2011 to the present. Rev. Juanita and her husband Rev. Edner, are serving as FFWPU District Leaders of New York.
Juanita received the Marriage Blessing with Edner Pierre-Louis, originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1982. They have three children and two grandchildren.
