Generation Peace Academy Opens Application for 2014–15 Year

Dear Families,

Generation Peace Academy (GPA) continues to be transformed in new and exciting ways, adapting to the current needs of young people and the significant time we live in. Over the years, GPA has evolved from fundraising and witnessing into a comprehensive one-year program which includes overseas service projects, leadership training, Blessing Marriage preparation, and in-depth exploration of the Divine Principle and Unification Thought.

GPA provides a great opportunity for high school graduates to partake in a gap year program. The purpose of GPA is for participants to discover who they are before stepping into college or work, and begin with solid footing and a higher purpose in life. Our goal is that a participant begins to develop a personal and authentic relationship with our Heavenly Parent and True Parents, and a desire to pursue a principled lifestyle.

We hope that you will consider the GPA 2014–15 program, beginning in September 2014, as a valuable and exciting opportunity.

The application process is currently open as of March 1st, 2014. To apply, simply register and log-in at gpafamily.com and access the application located near the top of the page. Additional information such as photos, videos and participant testimonies can also be found on the website. There is no application fee during the “early bird” period from now until April 15, 2014. All applications submitted after April 15th will require a $70 fee. We encourage you to apply early to take advantage of this opportunity. After receiving your application materials, a staff member will contact you and schedule a phone interview.
