Background
Michael Stovall was born in Wenatchee, Washington in 1956. He met the Unification Movement while a student at Boise State University in the fall of 1976. He interrupted his studies to join the International One World Crusade (IOWC) that was formed at that time. He did some missionary outreach work in Vermont in 1977, and then joined MFT, working in New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Michigan.
In 1983 Michael graduated MFT and became a part of the publication staff for the New Ecumenical Research Association at Barrytown. He continued in this capacity with the International Religious Foundation in New York City until 1989, and completed his college degree at SUNY.
Michael received the Marriage Blessing with Wendy Hill, a native Zimbabwean in 1982 at Madison Square Garden. They have two children.
After settling in Michael’s hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1992, Wendy was appointed FFWPU USA State Leader at the end of 1993, and held the position until 2001. In 2006, he was asked to take over the position of Pastor, a volunteer posting, for the local Salt Lake Family Church.
Michael currently works full-time as the Computer Programmer for Sandy City, Utah.
