Background

Shota Iwasaki  graduated from Cussing Academy Massechusetts in 1984. That same year, he joinedCARP. From 1991-1995, Shota taught Martial Arts at Boston University and University of Massachusetts, Boston. He graduated from North Eastern University in Boston, in 1990. 

Shota served in Public Relations for the Pure Love Alliance in Chicago in 1998, and in 2003, he began attending the Unification Theological Seminary. During his time there, he served as the student council president in 2006, and taught martial arts from 2003-2007. He graduated in 2007, and soon began serving as President of Tong Il Moo Federation of North America, a title which he still holds. 

Currently, Shota serves as the FFWPU USA State Leader for the Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Shota received the Marriage Blessing with Miyuki Ito, originally from Sapporo, Japan in 1992.  He resides in Philadelphia, with his wife and 7 children.
