Marina dear, Thank you so very much for this very moving video and heartfelt narrative. I knew your father from the early days when he was a member of New Future Films and I was a member of the New Hope Singers accompanying True Father during the Day of Hope tours in the early 70s.

As soon as True Father finished his speech in one city, the NFF staff always very quickly dismantled their camera/audio equipment and were already en route to the next city, scheduled on the tour, way ahead of us. By the time the NHSI arrived, NFF had already completed setting up their camera and audio equipment, always being very professional and very reliable and always very, very serious about their mission. I was such a young and naive member, and was never fully aware of how high their standard was and how professional they were. All I had to do was sing well.

Shimoyama had an outgoing personality, and unlike many Japanese men was very funny and easy to talk with. I always looked forward to seeing him in the next city. He was special, for he truly embraced and loved America and the American members and for this, I will surely miss him. God bless you and the rest of family.
