Video Archives: True Parents’ Birthday Celebration February 2, 1979

This week on February 5, we will be celebrating True Parent’s birthday. As we digitize our historic film archives, our team is making great efforts to preserve the priceless memories of living together with True Parents.

In honor of their upcoming birthday, we share some clips of True Parents celebrating their birthday with Unificationists in America in 1979 and 1980.

As part of Unificationist traditions, celebrations and gatherings, True Father and True Mother offer a song together. At the 1979 celebration of True Parents’ birthday, True Mother sings a Korean song as True Father whistles along.

True Father invites the audience to suggest his speaking topic at the 1980 celebration of True Parents’ birthday to encourage their participation and discover what was close to Unificationists’ hearts at this time.
