True Mother’s Message on Heavenly Parent’s Day

NOTE: The following information is a translation of True Mother’s message given at the congratulatory luncheon to commemorate the 47th Heavenly Parent’s Day held at the Cheon Jeong Gung on the first day of the first month in the second year of Cheon Il Guk (Jan. 31, 2014). Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, our True Mother, on Heavenly Parent’s Day, January 31, 2014.

Approximately 90 Unificationists from Korea and Japan attended a congratulatory luncheon with True Mother to celebrate Heavenly Parent’s Day. Participants offered a bow of respect at the Bonhyangwon (True Father’s burial ground), before the luncheon, and then participated in a toast and a cake cutting to ring in the New Year. Following are some of True Mother’s words from the event:

““We need to become the people who produce big results, reflecting each day on the 2020 motto, ‘Let us become true owners of Cheon Il Guk (the Ideal Heavenly Kingdom of Eternal Peace) who practice true love inresemblance to our Creator, the Heavenly Parent!’”

“We are all now preparing for a new era and should be serious about it. You, as Unificationist families and the first ancestors of the 6000 year providence have responsibilities to fulfill. We need to become people who can bear the responsibility of Heaven’s blessings.”

“We live our life in three stages: 10 months in the womb, 100 years on Earth, and an eternal life in the spirit world. Earthly life is a period for preparation to be free and happy in the eternal world.”

“We received the great Blessing from our True Parents that our Heavenly Parent original desired to give us. We need to pass the Blessing on to our descendants of all generations and become ancestors they can be proud of and who can say: ‘My ancestor was really special for doing magnificent work with True Parents.True Parents know my ancestor.’ Most importantly, we should all become prestigious families, doing our best so that in the spirit world, we can report our results to True Father.”

““I recently visited America and realized that the families there love Hyo Jin (True Parent’s eldest son). There is a Unificationist to whom Hyo Jin appeared to spiritually before I left for America, and he had told this person that I would come to the U.S.”

True Mother joined in with leaders and members for a traditional Korean New Year’s game, Yute, and sang one of her favorite songs, “사랑해 당신을” (Saranghae Tangshineul—Most beloved Spouse) as an offering for the day.

True Mother and her daughter-in-law, Yeon Ah Choi Moon, wife of the late Hyo Jin Moon, True Parents’ oldest son, cut the celebratory cake.
