Upcoming Holy Days

Though Christmas and the New Year are behind us, the holiday season is not over yet! Just around the corner are three major Unificationist Holy Days—God’s Day (Feb. 8), True Parents’ birthday (Feb. 13), and Foundation Day (Feb. 20)—where we can celebrate our Heavenly Parent, the legacy of our founders and the new era of God’s Kingdom which we strive to build each day. Martin Luther King Day of Service

Martin Luther King Day arrived on the East Coast with snow on the ground and great chill in the air. Nevertheless, members of the National Ministry Team bundled up and joined Unificationists and their families in signing up for a day of giving back to the Montclair, Newark and New York communities.

Youth Pastors Retreat

Thirty-two youth pastors from around the country met at the International Peace Education Center in Las Vegas from January 15-17 for a Youth Pastors’ Retreat led by National Youth Ministry Director, Kaeleigh Moffitt.

American Leadership Conference

More than a hundred peace lovers from the public sector, religious, civic society and even the youth sector assembled at the FFWPU Learning Center, 4 West 43rd Street, New York, on January 16 for the first of a series of American Leadership Conferences sponsored by the Universal Peace Federation USA.

New District Pastor Installation

This month, Rev. Jeffrey and Mrs. Toyoko Schmidt in District 7, which includes Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin, were consecrated as new District Pastors in a January 17th service in Chicago; and Rev. Chris and Dr. Christine Hempowicz, District Pastor couple for New England, in a January 10th service in Worcester, Massachusetts.
