True Mother Visits L.A.

Bishop Noel Jones, a well known mega church pastor, welcomed True Mother into his church in Los Angeles. The rally was a great success with vibrant entertainment and a heartfelt message from the Mother of Peace.

The Youth Revival weekend surrounding the rally brought together 500 youth and young adults from around the country for a weekend experience. CARP and YAYAM partnered to provide an experience focusing on the power of the Blessing Ceremony and how it is meant for all of God’s children, not just those within our faith.

Time with Sun Jin Nim

Our older sister Sun Jin Nim came to share with 400 youth before the L.A. event. She shared about her recent experiences in Hawaii with True Mother and how we can connect to peace in our daily lives.

She also joined the larger L.A. community on Sunday morning after True Mother’s visit to celebrate with our family. Listen to her heartfelt sharing here!

Northeast Subregion

This month, Massachusetts finished the Il Shim Ceremony program with their graduation ceremony! It was a lot of fun having all of the participants receive their rings! One of our staff reported, “The exchanging of vows and receiving the rings was very moving, and after the ceremony was finished many people from the community expressed how emotional they felt during the graduation. The kids were all excited and grateful for this opportunity. We are excited to have gone on this journey with them, and we look forward to seeing them grow even more.”

Southeast Subregion

Maryland YAM hosted a one of a kind paint night! Everyone who attended had the opportunity to create their own masterpieces from the legendary Bob Ross. Canvases, paint, brushes and, of course, snacks were provided to fuel their creative minds. Everyone had a great time and are excited to see all the great programming that comes out of MD YAM!

Midwest Subregion

Chicago’s Children’s Ministry 1-3 graders already knew that plants need soil, sunlight, and water in order to grow. In this lesson, they were taught that a life of faith also needs soil, sunlight, and water. They planted Calla Lilies to remind themselves that they need to grow with God.

Southwest Subregion

The Colorado youth helped build community garden boxes and learned about making compost. What a great way to learn about creation through serving others!

West Subregion

The Los Angeles and Bay Area communities have kicked off their Il Shim and Devoted programs. The LA community kicked off Devoted with an ice skating adventure!
