Women, Justice, and the Water of Life
Welcome to True Parents Way!
This week’s video is about Cheon Il Guk’s judiciary, the Cheon Beob Won. The human body fights infections through the immune system. The ideal society too must have a way to recognize danger and eliminate or transform it. It will not be by judges and lawyers. The family will protect the body’s health. As True Father said, “Is there anything that cannot be resolved within the family?” Then he said something very mysterious: blessed wives will form a peace kingdom corps and police force, to nourish and protect blessed families and the environment. True Father compared these organizations to the red and white blood cells. We’ll talk about what these blood cells do, and the role of blessed husbands.
Our Holy Marriage Blessing podcast, “The Water of Life,” is about Jesus’ encounter with a woman at a well (John 4). Before this woman whom he had never before met, Jesus made a big claim: “Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.” The woman thought he was talking about literal water: “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t …have to keep coming here to draw water.” Then Jesus said something very mysterious: to receive the water of life, he said, “go, call your husband and come back.” He was talking about the Holy Marriage Blessing—the fount of eternal life. Jesus knew her sin, but was ready to forgive and bless.

Thank you Tyler!

How they linger, ever near me

Mark,
Thank you for your question.
Yes, an infected body eventually dies. The notion of force, or power, is not inimical to the Principle of Creation. Separation (“repulsion”) is part of the original principle, but the spiritual and physical realms of social life, i.e. “church” and “state,” are meant to harmonize. Individual rights and privacy are protected, and perfected, by true love in the family, which is the source of all godly social power.
If that is your interpretation of John 4, mine obviously differs.
Best always,
Tyler

Hello,
With respect, what if the “infection” ends up being the “police force,” “family,” or “Cheon Il Guk” itself. The institutions themselves? Will they voluntarily “eliminate” themselves?
Isn’t the whole notion of “force” contrary to the Principle of Creation?
Isn’t the separation of church and state authorities very important?
How will individual privacy and rights be protected from these institutions?
Thank you for your consideration of my questions.
PS
If the writer of the Gospel of John used Jesus speaking of “living water” as a metaphor, isn’t the woman also speaking of the water as a metaphor? The Old Testament water vs. the New Testament water?
Wouldn’t the “five husbands” be the five books of Moses?
Wouldn’t the woman herself be a metaphor?
