What’s With the Cheon Il Guk Constitution?
Welcome to True Parents Way!
Our series is about the Cheon Il Guk Constitution. This week’s video is entitled “The Offering of the Office-Holder.” The Constitution’s criteria for public office are faith, character, professionalism, effectiveness and dignity. The office-holder’s dignity begins with every citizen’s duties: to practice absolute sex, live for others, respect public ownership, minister True Parents’ words, and participate in a God-centered family and tribe. Office-holders have to go beyond that. As Jesus said, “…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” Office holders and their families fulfill this on the national stage.
Our Holy Marriage Blessing podcast is the first of a two-part series entitled, “Conflicts in Marriage.” We thought we’d do a podcast that everyone can relate to! The challenge is to make conflicts, which are natural and inevitable, into offerings that God can accept and work through. This requires both sides to grow in love. Some conflicts come from sin; some come as elements intrinsic to the growing period. As they grow, children conflict with their old clothes—they get too tight. They leave them behind, pass them on. So too we leave behind the smaller mindset that we are outgrowing through marriage. It’s all a part of True Parents way.
