WFWP Hosts Leadership Seminar
Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) USA hosted a seminar on “Discovering the Leader Within” on the last weekend of July in Minnesota. Thirty-five participants comprised of clergy, guests, friends, sisters and brothers attended the two-hour seminar, where they listened to Rev. Angelika Selle, president of WFWP USA, speak on the organization’s vision and mission, the new time that society is living in, and the heart of being a leader.
Throughout the seminar, Rev. Selle shared 10 insights about what it takes to be a leader of the heart based on the teachings of True Parents, the founders of WFWP, as well as professional courses and her own experience as a leader. She highlighted examples of True Mother’s leadership by example and why women are called at this time to be on the frontline for positive change in their own lives, families, homes, communities, and the world level. The seminar ended with a Q-and-A session and a delicious lunch.
Most of the women there felt inspired and confident to act as a leader. They were also challenged to do more.
The next day, for Sunday Service, Rev. Selle gave a sermon titled, “Being a True Owner: If Not Us, Who? If Not Now, When?”
The spirit of the congregation was high and the sermon was well-received, as Rev. Selle challenged both the younger and the elder generations to live by the basics, to practice an authentic and strong life of faith, and to surrender to Gods’ Will as modeled by True Father and True Mother. She also outlined the “job description” of a Messiah, and the need for leaving old ways of thinking and acting behind in this new era of hope and opportunity.
All were inspired, and the following Q-and-A session turned out to be an opportunity for deep and joyful sharing. Many brothers and sisters were happy to hear from an elder sister about her experiences with True Mother, God’s providence, and raising the next generation.

thanks for letting us know of all the many happenings in our nation as from other countries.
