In the Midwest, District 8 pastors gathered together at the Des Moines Family Church in Iowa for their annual pastors’ retreat on October 15-16. The theme of the retreat was “Connect, Share, and Support,” and its main purpose was to begin drafting goals for District 8’s contribution to Vision 2020.

On October 9, the Chicago Family Church community welcomed our Continental Chairman, Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, to deliver the Sunday Service message.  Dr. Kim shared about the importance of our relationship with True Parents as the way to experience God’s love and share it with others as tribal messiahs. Following the Sunday Service, Dr. Kim joined the Chicago community’s bi-monthly town hall meeting and provided insights into many hopes and concerns facing our international, national and local church development.
