Japan is in Our Hearts
This week is all about Japan! As we celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Unification faith in Japan, we honor and recognize the following events in Japan with our utmost gratitude:
- Honorary doctorate degrees of the Unification Theological Seminary were presented to three outstanding leaders in Japan.
- Four Unificationists from Japan went missing from the eruption of the Ontake volcano, and one of the four, a teenage Unificationist girl, was discovered to have passed away. We send our prayers during this difficult time.
- Japan recently held a Global Youth Festival, a rally hosting 10,000 people at which Sun Jin Moon delivered an inspiring message on behalf of True Mother
Thank you to our Japanese community for all of your efforts toward moving God’s providence forward!
Taking the time to express gratitude is always time well spent. Let’s take the time to do that now in the comments below to our many Japanese brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers on this bitter-sweet occasion.

I love Japanese people because of my experiences with them in the Family Federation. When I visited Japan in 2003, there was nothing but care, concern & gentle hospitality. This mother ‘s heart is desperately needed in our world today, in our church & in all families. Japan’s investment in the USA will not be lost. It is bearing fruit which will blossom forever! Bless you, Japan.

I wish to thank the Japanese Church and all the wonderful members I met in America. I especially wish to thank Kyoko Kuramoto, and her family, for all the kindness and love they shared with me and also when my husband, Jeremiah, and I visited Japan.
