This Week on True Parents Way
Contributed by Dr. Tyler Hendricks
We’re in the midst of “The Way” blog series, which connects the dots between “I’d like a happy marriage” to “I need True Parents Blessing.”
This week on the blog, we look at how, through the Marriage Blessing, we fulfill three conditions of lesser indemnity. Lesser indemnity is when a creditor accepts a repentant debtor’s small payment to cover the entire debt. What Jesus achieved through the cross, what True Parents won through perpetual death and resurrection, we receive sacramentally. The authority of the Blessing remits sin. We are liberated from Satan’s accusation.
The Blessing has six steps. The next posts of “The Way” will outline them.
Our Tuesday video continues with “The Trapeze Jump to True Parents.” I answer a tough question: if filial heart is so essential, why did Jesus and True Father separate from their parents? I point out that our longing for God leads us away from fallen parents and propels us across the gap to True Parents. Then what? We return to embrace our parents and build with them a hometown and world of blessing.
And our Thursday podcast, “New Year’s Revolution,” will launch 2017 with a look at the resolution that creates a revolution: living for my spouse.
It’s all at trueparentsway.com.
One more thing: Happy New Year!
