The Week on True Parents Way
Private Ownership, Freedom of the Press, and the Three-Day Ceremony
Contributed by Dr. Tyler Hendricks
When it was completed in 1924, it was the world’s longest suspension bridge. Built by the Harriman and other wealthy families, the Bear Mountain Bridge was deeded to be donated to New York State in 1962. It is a stellar example of the private sector serving the public purpose, which is the cornerstone of Cheon Il Guk economics.
Did you know there is no taxation in Cheon Il Guk? Support for public works is voluntary. This is something no nation in history has achieved. Can we do it? We have set the foundation with True Parents, and now our Constitution puts it into law.
This week the True Parents Way blog covers this and other vital issues for our nation: freedom of the press, ownership of education, the relationship between public relations and propaganda, and the distribution of authority from global to self-governing local levels.
On Tuesday we’ll post the first of two short videos explaining the Three-Day Ceremony from a biblical perspective. And I just might engrave my thoughts on who I’m voting for on the Thursday podcast. We do have a free press in Cheon Il Guk, right?
Cheers to everyone.
