This Week on True Parents Way

This week on True Parents Way we continue the blog series on True Family Values. Jesus did not address God as our accountant in Heaven, our professor in Heaven, or our attorney in Heaven. He addressed our Creator on family terms, as our Father in Heaven. The goal of the entire Bible is to bring God to dwell where we dwell. God wants to dwell where He can feel the most love, and that is the family. True Family Values is about bringing God home.
Our Tuesday video, “Begotten of God,” is about God’s sex. “Who is that causal being?” Rev. Moon asked former U.S. presidents at the inauguration of the Family Federation, “Is it male? Is it female?” He didn’t answer directly. But he said, “The place where sons and daughters are born is the place where the dual characteristics of God are divided. Sons and daughters have equal value. God cannot love the baby in the womb, except through your couple. He can love them from the position of the owner of the son and the owner of the daughter.”
And in our Thursday podcast, “True Mother’s Day,” Pastor Ruth and Dr. Tyler share Rev. Moon’s teachings on the role of the mother, to bring birth and rebirth, to introduce the child to the world, to shape the culture and to shape their husband. How can all mothers become true mothers? The Bible reveals this through the histories of Rebekah and Tamar, matriarchs of Israel, ancestors of Jesus, who reversed the sin of Eve.
