This Week on True Parents Way

This week on True Parents Way we continue the blog series on True Family Values. God has a purpose for the family, and when God has a purpose, God creates a model. A model is a picture of what the outcome is supposed to look like, and directions on how to get there. And we’ll talk about how these values have worked out in our Unification movement.

Our Tuesday video, Begotten of God, takes us to the founding of the Family Federation in Washington, D.C. At its closing banquet, August 1, 1996, Rev. Moon’s topic was profound: “In Search of the Origin of the Universe.” It was an impromptu talk that shocked, titillated and embarrassed his listeners. He looked at pastors and presidents and asked them, straight on: “Does anyone here dislike their sexual organs? If you like them, to what extent do you like them? Until now you may have thought that it is not virtuous to appreciate the sexual organs, but from now on you need to appreciate their value.”

And in our Thursday podcast, Change of Lineage, Pastor Ruth and Dr. Tyler share a biblical revelation, discovered by Rev. Moon, put into practice by millions, about how we become God’s true children.
