This Week on True Parents Way
Contributed by Dr. Tyler Hendricks
The True Parents Way blog series, “Begotten of God,” explores the question of eternal life. Some religions believe that in God’s kingdom the saints will enjoy eternal physical life. Unificationists don’t believe that. Or do we? True Father alluded to a part of the body that never dies. It acts through love, and does love become physical? Well, it sure does. We’re here on earth because love turned physical. And we stay on earth for the same reason.
The Tuesday video continues the discussion of national restoration, this week on the methodology. True Mother called American and global legislators to become one. “Public servants must be awakened in the same way that spiritual leaders must be awakened to a life of service, living for the sake of others.” She was implementing the vision for national restoration. I explain what legislators can do on behalf of love.
And the Thursday podcast is a lesson for new students on the Holy Wedding. Pastor Ruth Muanda and I explain how we gather to make a divine imprint not only on ourselves, but on world history. In True Father s words, “It is the historical event that was at the heart of the ideal of creation. You must really feel that this ceremony is happening for the first time ever since the beginning of creation.”
