Our True Parents Way blog series concludes an account of God’s providence from 2001-2012, with a reflection on the ascension of our founder and True Father, Sun Myung Moon, in 2012, and the continuation of the True Parents’ ministry through our True Mother, Hak Ja Han Moon. It moves into True Mother’s message to American congressional leadership at the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP) inauguration in Washington, D.C. That this refugee, immigrant, member of an oppressed minority could give such a speech in such a place to such an audience shows the path forward for all who feel oppressed.
Our Tuesday video explains how the standard for national restoration—sexual abstinence before marriage and fidelity in marriage—is exactly what God commanded the first parents. This is important because the Cheon Il Guk standard must be universal and scalable. The standard for a society, a nation, and the world must be the same as for an individual and family. Governance comes through parents, but fallen parents have no foundation to govern righteously. The standard of abstinence before marriage and fidelity in marriage, extended through lineage, brings forth righteous parents who implement God’s governance.
And our Thursday podcast is all about a topic familiar to any husband or wife: conflicts in marriage. We’ll share True Father’s words about how God’s love transforms conflicts into growth spurts and builds every husband’s and wife’s character into the image of God, male and female.
