UTS Offers New One Year Diploma and Ministerial Leadership Courses

In line with True Mother’s vision for leadership education, the Ministry Support team and the Unification Theological Seminary (UTS) are offering ongoing professional training for our ministry leaders.

Foundation in Ministry Diploma

In order to promote a professional approach to leadership training, the Ministry and Education Team and UTS are now offering a one year diploma program called Foundation in Ministry Diploma for all Pastors, Ministry Leaders, and Tribal Messiahs upon successful completion of the six online courses. These courses will help better serve our ever growing number of new and young leaders, seasoned ministry leaders, and Tribal Messiahs.  Individuals can also elect single classes to fit their schedules. Register for the Foundation in Ministry Diploma now and get all four registration fees covered by HSA a Savings of $100.00! Offer ends Friday January 16th.

Ministerial Leadership Course

Our next available course starting in late January is Ministerial Leadership Dr. Demetrius Carolina will be teaching this 5 week course to give you practical and constructive theological tools to adequately care for your families, congregations, and communities. The Ministerial Leadership course is $165.00 plus a $25.00 registration fee. Registration closes Friday January 16th.

Things Heat Up at Bridgeport International Academy

Bridgeport International Academy, a college preparatory high school founded by our True Parents, is launching a crowd funding campaign for a new multi-purpose assembly room for the school.

Bridgeport International Academy has been in operation since 1997. Over the years it has developed into a fine institution, gained accreditation from NEASC (the prestigious accrediting body of New England), completely renovated a building, built a Digital Art Studio, and most impressive of all built a tradition of support and culture of clarity that produces an excellent student body.

As we grow we keep expanding our facilities in order to accommodate a growing international population. This year we are reaching out to our alumni, parents, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances as part of our Fundraising campaign 2014. The funds ($30,000 needed) will be used to complete a 2,500 sq. ft. multipurpose room, which the students are looking forward to using.

A DP Life Workshop Experience in New Hampshire

Heather Thalheimer of the Faith Fusion community in New Hampshire will be holding a seminar on January 10th, 2015 called Deeper With God. This seminar will feature Gerry Servito as the main speaker and aims to “educate our current membership and new guests through practical application/life guidance sermons based on the Divine Principle and Unification Thought.” This seminar will delve deeper into the three hearts of God as a follow-up to the current sermon series “What to do when you feel disappointed with God.” If you are interested in attending, bringing a guest or learning more about this seminar please contact: Heather Thalheimer (603)340-8585, info@nhfaithfusion.com

The last e-weekly update for 2014 features a summary of the events held in Las Vegas with True Mother, the 18th “Christmas Festival for Love and Dreams," the first “Flower of Hope Multi-Cultural Festival” held in Seoul and news from Japan and Peru. The e-weekly update can be viewed here.

In the last few weeks, the American Clergy Leadership Conference Banquet, Opening Ceremony for the Cranes Club Workshop, Special Meeting for Japanese members and Special Christmas Sunday Service took place in Las Vegas with True Parents. True mother addressed each event separately with a message about spreading the news about True Parents to the world.

The Aewon Volunteer Group together with the Universal Ballet held the 18th “Christmas Festival for Love and Dreams," a festival meant to spread love to those who are often marginalized in society. This event began in 1977.

The Association for the Multi-cultural families in Seoul hosted the first “Flower of Hope Multi-Cultural Festival” in Seoul. The event gave hope and vision to the multicultural youth living in Seoul.

A Happy Family Program was held in Japan to promote stronger relationships with couples and families and a stronger community support.

UPF in Peru worked with Ambassadors for Peace began Christmas by visiting the poorer districts in their cities and towns distributing gifts.
