The Spirit of Interfaith Unity Continues in Michigan

On Sunday, September 3rd, 2017, the Grand Rapids Family Church organized its second joint service with the New Level Truth Ministry, a Christian congregation in Caledonia, Michigan. Thirty people were present for the service.

Pastor Josue H. Kisile of the Grand Rapids Family Church spoke on God’s Original Ideal. With the help of his Bible, he introduced and explained the Three Great Blessings, a concept explored more fully in the Divine Principle.  

Those present reported feeling amazed by how well put together the message was. It was clear that there was a readiness to receive in the congregation. At the end of the sermon, several people came up to Pastor Kisile and Pastor David Floyd of New Level Truth Ministry and reported their gratitude for the joint service.

Both the Grand Rapids Family Church and the New Level Truth Ministry are creating opportunities for closer connection. Every two weeks, Pastors Kisile and Floyd plan to meet to study the Divine Principle. They hope that by reaching across the aisle and joining together, they can grow in their relationships with God and grow their congregations.

The next interfaith service will be on the first Sunday of October. The message will be given by Pastor Floyd. As news of the joint service is spreading, Pastors Kisile and Floyd are praying that other churches will join the interfaith services. Pastor Kisile plans to introduce the Marriage Blessing Ceremony to the New Level Truth Ministry in the near future.
