At next year’s National Convocation, it would be nice for the ACLC to present True Mother with a written declaration from the President of the United States – Exonerating True Father for his unjust incarceration in the USA. Some of the most loyal ACLC clergy are from Chicago, President Obama’s home town. Most of them are African American, and are therefore sensitized to persecution as religious and racial minorities – the two aspects that were the fuel for the unjust accusations against True Father.
President Obama is entering the last 2 years of his presidential term in office, and his legacy is now very much in his mind. With no congressional or other elections before the end of his term, the President is now able to act by Presidential executive action to secure his legacy. A Presidential executive pardon for True Father would enhance the legacy of the President and cement ACLC’s historical relevance in service of True Parents. ACLC should act with haste before the country starts to shift to the political calculations of 2016.

Speaking the absolute ontological truth … that human beings as True Parents are in the image of God, has its challenges. We are challenged to set our gaze upon our homes and churches, and then do we see the image and likeness of God -beings present there ? We cannot but be humbled by what we see … and repent. Yet, in this season of glad tidings, let us rejoice, Heaven Parent has sent a true son and true daughter , the True Parents … for our salvation.
