Recommended Reading: The Kalki Avatar
We can learn a lot about the world’s cultures simply by listening to stories from Unificationist missionaries and their extensive cultural experiences abroad. One such couple is John and Ginger Nicholls, who currently live in the United Kingdom.
The Kalki Avatar – Tears for Nepal memoir captures the struggles and triumphs of the Nicholls during the 15 years they dedicated as Unificationist missionaries to the special land of Nepal. Through stories that are at times heart-wrenching and at other times hilarious, sometimes mundane and sometimes life-threatening, Ginger’s selfless dedication and sense of humor are ever present.
Purchase their book here and spend some quality time this winter with the Nicholls and a hot pot of tea in the comfort of your favorite armchair, experiencing Nepal from their shoes and discovering Nepal’s Kalki Avatar.

Just finished the book and feel little closer to Nepal, though I’ve never been there. The early days with the heart-break of self-serving members to the glorious victories of the visit of our True Parents and friendships made with government leaders touched me deeply. Thank you for all your efforts on behalf of Nepal and God’s providence.
