This is the very day that I first met Father Moon in the main house of Belvedere. I did not even know that he could speak Japanese. I shook hands with him, saying in English, “I am very glad to meet you.” Father looked at me from my head to my feet, without saying a word. This was the turning point of my life. Later, I studied DP by myself and joined the movement.

It’s so wonderful to read testimonies of Father Moon’s early experiences in America. From Father’s example from this day, let us bring God’s love to our communities!
