A Letter to Celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Peace Starts With Me in New York

Dear Families,
Today marks one year since the Peace Starts with Me rally at Madison Square Garden (MSG), where True Mother gave a historic message. This was a time when everyone united as one and achieved together a great success. It showed us that faith and unity can accomplish great things, beyond our own ideas and beliefs. Looking back on this year, we recognize that the rally at MSG was truly a breakthrough in the Providence in America. It changed the atmosphere of our movement in America and brought us to a whole new level.
We saw the youth coming together as never before to support this rally. They played a big part in creating the magical energy in the arena. This also energized them to continue to be active in substantial ways across the country. That energy is still active, as evident in the recent special Hyojeong CARP trip where 360 young Unificationists traveled to Japan and Korea, visited historically providential sights, and directly attended True Mother in Japan.
The American Clergy Leadership Conference was particularly transformed, as True Mother spoke to members of the Clergy and they responded. After the Peace Starts with Me rally, Christian Clergy from America stood by True Parents at the “Special Rally for the Peaceful Reunification of the Korean Peninsula” on November 11, 2017 in Seoul. They continue to study and teach the Divine Principle and conduct Blessing ceremonies in their churches. The relationship between these Christian ministers and True Parents is stronger and more profound now than ever before.
Another area, in which the breakthrough can be traced to the work towards MSG is in Tribal Messiahship. Today is also the conclusion of the 40 Days of Blessing condition that marks the one-year anniversary of TribeNet, an active network of families who support one another in fulfilling the blessing of 430 couples. Since starting the Blessing condition over a year ago to support the rally at MSG, the number of active Tribal Messiahs keeps growing, and we see how much our families invest to complete our main task from True Parents – to expand the blessing throughout America.
As True Mother prepares to speak at a special rally in Brazil on August 4, we see the worldwide impact of the triumph at MSG. This past year, True Mother made historical breakthroughs in Africa and in Europe. In America, we see miracles happening around us all the time as we continue to work together to establish the substantial Cheon Il Guk.
Let’s move forward to do great things together and celebrate many more achievements for Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
