One United Heart
Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, the Mother of Peace, called on all faith leaders and believers worldwide to unite and heal the world during two major virtual events this past weekend.
Dr. Moon was joined by esteemed global faith leaders for the 1st Anniversary of the World Christian Leadership Conference (WCLC) convocation on December 4 and 5, followed by the fourth WCLC Rally of Hope. Hundreds of thousands of people from around the world participated in the live events streamed online by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), co-founded by Dr. Moon and her late husband Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon.
“I have called upon you to become the righteous people of this time,” said Dr. Moon during her special keynote message from the International Peace Education Center (IPEC) in Las Vegas. “Our Creator wanted to realize His dream on earth together with humankind; therefore, He gave human beings a responsibility. He wanted them to grow their hearts well and perfect their love, then live together with Him, their Creator.”
Dr. Moon explained how humanity fell away from God–originating with our first human ancestors–and shared how it is our responsibility to address the issues plaguing society by uniting with God and each other. She explained how God blessed America to serve other nations and usher in a global spirit of freedom and faith through exercising interdependence, mutual prosperity, and universal values. Clergy have been instrumental in advancing God’s Will, which materializes through ideal couples and families centered on Him.
“[Clergy] have the responsibility to embrace and guide all people with one united heart,” said Dr. Moon. “The fulfillment of that responsibility will create a new history… Only when we let go of everything in the past that had a human-centered beginning, and advance to a position that is centered solely on True Parents and Heavenly Parent, can God be with us. Let all people know about the urgent heart with which God has been waiting. The United States must go back to its original founding spirit as it celebrates 400 years of history.”

Faith leaders from around the world shared similar messages of unity and peace, imploring believers to overcome all differences and put God first in their lives.
“There are times when to stay silent is to be complicit in the things that destroy, and our theocratic vocational responsibility is to spread the true love of Jesus Christ,” said rally keynote speaker Bishop Noel Jones of City of Refuge megachurch in Los Angeles. “We are the carriers of the Gospel and have been assigned to bring the world together in Jesus Christ.”
“Mother Moon has continued to bring faith leaders from all over the world to work together in peace and unification, to bring together people for the better cause,” added Pastor Paula White, another rally keynote speaker and spiritual adviser to the U.S. President Donald Trump. “It’s so important that we as clergy, as people of faith, call the body of Christ together to abide, which means to stand firm in God’s love, to extend peace, to extend His love, to see His love cover our nation and all nations, to bring them to Him, a true knowledge of who He is, a true knowledge of walking in that love.”
Faith leaders expressed their determination to support Dr. Moon’s endeavors to bring humanity back to God based on realizing a common Christian mission in the world.
“It is joyful to realize in the response to global threats for humankind… that humanity is increasingly feeling the need for cooperation between citizens with different ideologies, from different political systems, from different religions, languages, ethnic groups, and cultures,” said guest speaker Archpriest Vladimir Fedorov of the Russian Orthodox Church.
“We are the religious leaders prepared by God in this age,” said Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, chairman of the WCLC promotion committee. “God is trusting us with His people, His children, and His heart. Of course, it is easier said than done. But it is our commitment to put aside our differences, to look at one direction and fulfill our mission at this time… It begins in the family. We say, ‘Peace starts with me.’ Each of us is responsible to create peace within ourselves and around us.”
The virtual rally featured inspiring messages from a dozen international faith leaders and powerful musical entertainment by gospel singer Hezekiah Walker.
