National Council Member Survey: Help Us Help You
The following is a letter from the Chair of the National Council inviting all American Unificationists to offer feedback about their experiences with and hopes for the Unification movement in the United States. Please click the survey link below to share your valuable input and your heart as a Unificationist.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Below is a link to the National Council Member Survey, and your participation is needed. By filling out this anonymous survey, you are providing valuable input from the field on questions about our movement here in the United States and your own heart as a Unificationist. Questions were compiled based on feedback from a sampling of both first- and second-generation Unificationists across the country, regarding important areas that are doing well, not so well, or could “use improvement.”
We encourage you to be honest and candid in your responses. There are some short, multiple choice questions, and also room for your own narratives to provide input on anything regarding church matters as they are, or how you hope they would/could be going forward. You will be heard. The National Council was established to be a liaison between our members in the field and our National Ministry Team, to build relationships and foster good communication. Your input and the results of this national survey will give us solid feedback for discussion, review, and a foundation to propose new recommendations going forward.

This won’t be easy, but I think HQ needs to find ways to promote reconciliation and healing between the church and the two UC offshoots (H1 and H2), rather than emphasize defeating them. I think this can be done without damaging Mother’s authority. One of the strongest points of our outreach work was our emphasis on interfaith reconciliation, forgiveness, and one family under God, but we haven’t been able to practice it within our own ranks. This has damaged the hope of many members, especially second generation.
