Mother of Peace Awards 2021 Scholarships
Are you or is a student you know making a difference in your community? You could be eligible for the 2021 Pyeongae Scholarship from Mother of Peace Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon!
Mother Moon is uplifting and investing in young Unificationists with scholarships for U.S. and Canadian students who are giving back to their communities. The Pyeongae Scholarship, awarded through the Hyo Jeong World Peace Foundation, gives each recipient $2,000.
In 2020, seven remarkable young people received the scholarship, which enables civic-minded leaders of the future by supporting students who live a public lifestyle. Students involved in Sunday School, youth ministry, CARP, or other channels of community and church life are encouraged to apply.
There are three categories of eligible applicants: Pre-Hyo Jeong Peace Academy (HJPA) candidates, which include high school students and recent high school graduates who plan to attend Sun Moon University in Korea and will contribute to the providence after graduation; college students; and Master’s Degree or PhD students.
Applicants must submit the downloadable scholarship application form; a short essay on their dream or vision; and a letter of recommendation from their pastor. The application deadline is this Friday, February 5 at 11:59 p.m. in your U.S. or Canadian time zone.
