Join Trades of Hope in Helping Women in Poverty
Tamara Starr, a Unificationist local of Boston, was inspired by the vision of the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) to help raise funds for the local WFWP chapter and help young women of underdeveloped countries. True Mother’s vision for WFWP is for women to play a leading role in building a future of true freedom, peace and prosperity around the world. The National Ministry media team interviewed Tamara Starr to share about the Trades of Hope initiative.
So many women live in poverty, not because they lack abilities, but because they lack opportunity. Trades of Hope gives women an opportunity for a better life by partnering with artisans and organizations helping women in difficult circumstances all over the world. They help by marketing their products so they can afford food, a home, medical care and education for their children.
Trades of Hope is looking for American women to rise up and be the voice for the women who have no voice, through the social selling of fashion accessories and home décor made by these artisans living in poverty.
