James Nada and the Leda Project

James Nada, President of South and North America Sustainable Development for World Peace, recently completed a 21-day fast from December 1-21, 2015. Mr. Nada is no stranger to fasting, having done a 40-day fast and a 19-day fast most notably in August of 2012 after hearing of True Father’s hospitalization and eventual ascension.
Since that time, his work with the Leda Project brought him all over North America. In November 2014, on his own time and money, Mr. Nada traveled around the United States and Canada to meet with Unificationist communities and talk about the Leda Project and the importance of sustainable development in God’s providence. His effort helped to bring awareness and funding to the Leda Project, but was also a way to build connections with other Unificationists and talk about how to work together to bring about True Mother’s vision for 2020.
In July of 2015, he embarked on a second North American tour, again visiting communities, giving Sunday sermons and talking with leaders and local Unificationists. In November of 2015, he traveled to Japan and Korea where he was able to talk and discuss with many people there about God’s providence.
Through all of these travels, he says the most important thing he learned is that, “In order to bring victory for Vision 2020, we have to regain the spirit of the early days when we first met the Unification movement and listened to the word, and to renew our determination.” He said, “The older or earlier Unificationists have to renew and strengthen their determination and become the core support for True Mother.”

This realization led Mr. Nada to another 21-day fast. The goals of the fast included four prayer points: Unity between Korea, Japan and America, the three nations where Unificationism first spread; to bring Christianity’s ideals back to America; implementation of the Leda Project sustainable model throughout the world; and for the building of the Moldova nation, which is Mr. Nada’s nation of responsibility as a National Messiah.
Mr. Nada expressed his gratitude to Heavenly Parent that the fast went smoothly. With much spiritual support, he was able to continue working during the 21-days. He lost about 30lbs from the fast and is looking forward to regaining his physical strength so that he can continue the important work he feels called by God to do. He also expressed tremendous gratitude to the many people who supported him with prayers during this time.
