Iowa Unificationist Receives Hyo Jeong Scholarship
On Sunday, February 26, District 8 Pastor Rev. Hyungtae Ha visited the Iowa Unificationist community with his family to give the Sunday a sermon and present the Hyo Jeong Scholarship to the local recipient, Samuel Swearson, who is majoring in Cellular Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa.
“This is the closest encounter that I have had with True Parents,” he said in a beautiful, hand-written letter to True Mother. “I feel that with this scholarship, Heaven is truly at my side.
“Since I was eight years old, I was determined to become a doctor. My motive for this career is to be the steward of God’s temple, the human body. The research of regenerative therapy has the potential to heal the physical body by means never before seen. It is through this profession that I am devoted to practicing the principle of restoration, and it is this research that is my greatest offering to True Parents.”
Congratulations to Samuel Swearson, and best of luck on the road ahead!

Congratulations Samuel! The Midwest rises again with your motivation to serve True Parents and the world through your studies and future career. I know your father from when we joined in the early ’70’s.
