International Leadership Conference: Facing Worldwide Challenges
The International Leadership Conference continued for its third day at the Lotte Hotel in Jamshil, Korea on February 20, with a focus on the worldwide challenges people face today. The day began with special presentations on Northeast Asia, then shifted to discussing the Middle East. During both sessions, the speakers addressed the critical challenges both areas face, particularly the national or religious divisions that plague the regions. Naturally, speakers also explored ways to move toward lasting peace in both areas. These sessions were followed by an introduction to Youth and students for Peace (YSP), the world Peace foundation, the Intternational Conference on the Unity of the Sciences (ICUS), and more. The day concluded with an opportunity for participants to openly share in heart with others regarding what they have learned so far in the conference, and how it will impact the way they build peace in the future.
