The Hopes and Dreams for One Korea

The 2016 Cheon Il Guk Leaders Assembly was held from August 20-22 in Cheonpyeong, Korea. True Mother presided over the assembly’s closing ceremony in the Cheon Jeong Gung, and shared with leaders about God’s dream for humankind. This is a slightly abridged version of her remarks on the occasion.

God created heaven and earth and Adam and Eve, who are the ancestors of humankind, and gave them responsibility. They should have been united with God in absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience. However, during their growth stage, they fell due to self-centered thought and behavior. 

One the other hand, God had a grand dream. God wanted to achieve that dream with Adam and Eve. However, Adam and Eve, who were supposed to fulfill their responsibility, fell. Therefore, the almighty God became a miserable, sorrowful, and lonely God.

God’s heart never gives up on fallen humankind, so God started the providence of restoration through indemnity in order to restore mankind. So Heaven chose and raised up the chosen people.

To accomplish God’s dream, there must be a man and a woman who can fulfill the necessary responsibility. Through this man and woman, the gate to bring fallen people to Heaven’s side can be opened and the providence of history can move forward.

How difficult it must be to raise the chosen people. The tribe of Israel were prepared for 4,000 years in order to send the Messiah, the Savior, Jesus. The tribe of Israel, the Jewish people, and especially people around Jesus, Mary, Zachariah’s family and Joseph’s family, should have fulfilled their missions.

In one word, they failed. God prepared for so long and sent the Only Begotten Son, but the Jewish people crucified him. They believed that was salvation. It was silly and senseless. The two thousand years of Christianity has just been an empty shell.  

There was no center. They didn’t understand God’s providence and why God sent the Only Begotten Son. Man cannot do anything by himself. Therefore, the two thousand years of Christian history has been the providence to find the Only Begotten Daughter.

However, today’s Christianity does not know about this. Nevertheless, Heaven has moved forward through providential history. You would see that if you looked at the Bible. Heaven never used a central figure who had failed his original mission. It is the same with countries.

Heaven was longing for the Only Begotten Son and Only Begotten Daughter to become True Parents and save humankind, but that dream has been frustrated once again.

I told you this before; without indemnity, fallen people cannot go back to the Heaven’s side. You must know this.

Distinguished leaders gathered here today, when Jesus, the Only Begotten Son, was on the cross he said that he will return. He said that when he comes back he will have the marriage supper of the lamb. Christianity still doesn’t realize what the meaning of this is. The Only Begotten Son and Only Begotten Daughter are the True Parents who must come to the earth for the sake of God’s providence in human history. 

Korea has the responsibility to prepare the foundation of the Only Begotten Daughter, the True Parents in this providential history. In the same way that Heaven selected the Jewish people as the chosen people two thousand years ago, the Only Begotten Daughter who didn’t appear two thousand years ago was born in this Korean peninsula.

That being so, this Korean peninsula is the chosen country. This place should be the homeland that God lost. Standing in front of this immense blessing you have a responsibility.

Two thousand years ago, the Jewish people failed their mission. Our position today is a blessing, but also it is a truly fearful position. The Korean people must be awakened.

Through Heaven’s providence of history, God finally sent the True Parents after enduring indescribable hardship throughout six thousand years. Without True Parents, it is impossible for fallen human beings to be the children of God.

The Korean people should not live in ignorance of True Parents and the blessings they bring. This country has an important responsibility. But they still don’t know about this. So, as a blessed family, you have to let people know of the incarnation of True Parents and teach them where they must go. You must achieve victory through action while I am on the earth. All of you know of indemnity. Do you understand?

I hope all of you can achieve victory and not pay indemnity anymore.
