7th Anniversary of Foundation Day

February 6, 2020 marks the 7th Anniversary of Foundation Day. Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) co-founder Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, affectionately known as True Father, often spoke about Foundation Day (Cheon Il Guk) in the years leading up to it and before his ascension in 2012. Foundation Day is the pinnacle culmination of a yearslong process, where God and True Parents are one. True Parents is an affectionate term for Rev. Moon and his wife Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.
 
True Father first began establishing and strengthening the Foundation for Cheon Il Guk in 2001, creating ceremonies to expand God’s presence among individuals, nations, the world, and the cosmos. Each coronation was a step toward realizing and proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. True Father shared that Foundation Day is the first day of the New Eden, where we must have a clean, pure heart during this new beginning and time of rebirth. 
 
True Father further explained that Foundation Day occurs when two people substantially become one, thereby creating the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, which can only be realized through unity and love among humankind. Although each nation has its Foundation Day, the nation of Cheon Il Guk begins in Korea where God has direct dominion over it. True Father said as this Heavenly Nation unfolds, we must embody a Foundation Day culture, stemming from a place where there is no focus on oneself. This is living for the sake of others, as he often phrased it.
 
This year, Foundation Day will be celebrated simultaneously with True Father’s centenary. The blowout event in Korea is observed worldwide as True Mother honors his legacy of love and peace in realizing Cheon Il Guk.

    Amazing. Happy Cheon Il Guk . Let’s make it real by fulfilling our position of responsibility. Which includes unity with our couple centered in Heavenly Parents and True Parents.
