Fun Things to Do This Independence Day
Food is Love
What better way to express love than through food? Bust out the old barbecue grill and start cooking the hamburger patties and hot dogs. There’s nothing like the smell of a barbecue on the 4th of July. Turn your barbecue into a potluck to feature different cultures of food.
Be Active
Prepare some outdoor games and activities for the kids and the young-at-hearts. Play a game of Manta Nage or toss a Frisbee around. Don’t have the yard space? Take a short walk or bike ride around town or to the closest park.
Enjoy the Fireworks
Right before the sun sets, find a spot for you and your family to enjoy some fireworks. Bring some chairs and blankets and relish in the beauty of God’s creation.
