GPA 2016-2017 Application Now Open
GPA’s motto is “Generation Peace Academy: Creating a path to lead a meaningful life with God, True Parents and each other.” This one-year program is open to any Unificationist-born youth seeking to better understand their identity and heritage.
The program features several different activities throughout the year, including workshops, an international service project, adventure training, pilgrimages, and more. Participants are challenged to develop a greater understanding and appreciation of our movement’s deep roots, their parents’ experiences, and the significance of True Parents to themselves and to the world.
The three objectives of the GPA gap year are to 1) develop a lasting, personal relationship with God and True Parents, 2) gain confidence in understanding, practicing and sharing the Divine Principle, and 3) become empowered to uniquely impact the world–building long-lasting friendships of faith along the way that will support them for years to come.
