How to Participate in God’s Plan
Unificationists in New York and New Jersey took advantage of the pleasant weather and welcomed the coming season last weekend to hold Sunday Service at Camp Sunrise in New York. On Sunday, September 13, 2015, the New York, Westrock and New Jersey Family Churches gathered for a day of music, inspirational messages, fishing, swimming, boating and having fun together in the beautiful outdoors. Dr. Michael Balcomb, President of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification USA, gave the Sunday sermon, highlighting God’s plan for each individual and this community. In light of the anniversary of the attacks on 9/11, he emphasized that it’s not the cause of crisis that matters, but what we do next that defines us and shapes the world. He encouraged everyone that, when faced with the countless problems in this world, the best approach may be to focus on one thing and make a substantial change, rather than attempting to divide our energy among every cause. After service, there was a Back to School Special for kids, including games and prizes.

Thank you, Dr. Balcomb for the words of encouragement. I’ve been focused on a single topic for several years. How to explain America as an elder son nation. Out of the blue so to speak, an answer came to me ; and, of course I was really inspired and felt renewed.
