Come Together Under Our Heavenly Parent

The following is the edited transcript of the message given by Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, International Vice President of FFWPU, at Sunday service on April 5, 2020 on Facebook Live [Family Fed USA].

I’m here with my family and we are trying to do our best to attend Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Thank you once again, brothers and sisters, for joining together with me. We wish you a great and enjoyable time, even in these circumstances, with your family centering on True Parents and Heavenly Parent. 

Everybody heard about the seriousness of the coronavirus circumstances in America. More than ever, True Mother is praying every day for the sake of the American family members and True Mother shares her love for the sake of the American blessing central families.

I’m very happy today because the Canadian family members have joined our service! God bless our Canadian family members and all of Canada.

As you can see through True Mother’s message, the times have changed—from the Old Testament era to the New Testament era, and now we are in the Completed Testament era. Last Foundation Day [February 2020], True Mother proclaimed the establishment of Cheon Il Guk. In this new era, we have to adjust and adopt a clear and deep understanding of Heavenly Parent. This church is not confined to the narrow definition of my church or your church. 

In Korean, we say Haneul Bumonim Gyo-Dahn [하늘 부모님 교단 ]—Gyo-Dahn means a religious organization or a religious body. Gyo-Dahn means everyone of all religious backgrounds, all religious people who attend God, come together and attend Heavenly Parent through attending True Parents. That is the meaning. This extends beyond church denominations and all religious institutions. This includes all humankind. 

What is the purpose and mission of True Parents? To fulfill God’s dream. What is God’s dream?  To build heavenly individuals, heavenly families, heavenly nations, and a heavenly world. This is God’s hope and God’s dream. According to True Mother God cannot wait any longer. Our Heavenly Parent wants all humankind to come together regardless of race, nationality or religious background. This embraces all humankind—all 7.7 billion people. This is interdenominational, interracial, interreligious, and whoever believes in our Heavenly Parent through True Parent’s blessing is included. This time has changed. We need to come together under our Heavenly Parent’s vision. 

As True Mother mentioned that for the last 2000 years of Christianity humans made churches and denominations and religious institutions around the world, but God cannot wait any longer. Centering on our Heavenly Parent, Heavenly Parent directed True Mother to lead these coming activities embracing all humankind centering on True Parents. This is the motivation behind True Mother initiating Haneul Bumonim Gyo-Dahn [하늘 부모님 교단]—Heavenly Parent churches around the world.

This Heavenly Parent Church is not just one denomination where we worship differently from others. This Heavenly Parent Church embraces all humankind. This is the direction True Mother is leading us towards today and for the next seven years, centering on True Parents and Heavenly Parentship.

True Mother really wants everyone to come together in this movement and then we can restart, have a new beginning centering on Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Today we are suffering under the coronavirus and I see many people online asking where God is? True Mother says we must be humble and we must come under the blessing of Heavenly Parent and together begin the Heavenly Unified World Providence with these new activities.

This is the mission of True Parents, of Heavenly Parent’s Providence of Restoration, to save the world, to save all people. True Mother wants everyone to become a blessed central family. Religious people—those who believe in God we call religious people—come together and stand before the offering table and before Heavenly Parent. Together, we come before the offering dedication table and offer everything together for the sake of Heavenly Parent because Heavenly Parent is the owner of all creation. This is the real meaning of Gyo-Dahn and Heavenly Parent Church.
