Upcoming: Celebration with True Mother, Belvedere, NY
Our National Ministry Team is happy to announce some very good news: True Mother is planning to visit New York in early June and she is inviting all family members to join her for a great day of celebration and gratitude to God on Sunday, June 5 at Belvedere, four weeks from now.
On Mother’s Day, Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, FFWPU North America Continental Chairman, and FFWPU USA President Dr. Michael Balcomb, sent True Mother a Mother’s Day greeting and on behalf of American family members extended an invitation to the God Bless America Family Festival, originally scheduled for May 29.
“As we are planning for this joyful event, we can’t help but think about all those happy days of the past when you and True Father would make the short journey over from East Garden to share God’s word each week,” the invitation read.
As True Mother could not make it on the scheduled date, she suggested June 5th, which is also a Holy Day in the Unification tradition, as an alternative when she could come to America and celebrate together with us. On that happy day we will now celebrate three important providential milestones:
- The 62nd Anniversary of the founding of HSA-UWC in Korea in 1954 (June 5th is May 1 by the Heavenly Calendar.)
- The 54th Observance of the Day of All True Things (May 1, 1963 by the Heavenly Calendar)
- The 40th Anniversary of the Victory of the Yankee Stadium Rally (June 1, 1976)
Our previous plan to hold the Yankee Stadium Anniversary “God Bless America Family Festival” is officially rescheduled from Sunday May 29 to Sunday June 5, one week later. Full details will be announced soon and the event website has been updated accordingly.
We feel that our celebrations will now be triply blessed, and we are excited to have True Parents personally in attendance. We hope all families will be even more inspired to join us and we are very confident that our family-friendly festival will now be even better than before!
At the same time, we know it can be frustrating to have to change travel plans, and we apologize to anyone who has already made hard-to-cancel travel arrangements. For those who have purchased their tickets, please check your email for your new tickets or contact your pastor for a replacement.

I was told by my pastor that I should go to the Family Fed site and find a button on the bottom of the page to let you know that I was a member at the time of Yankee Stadium.
I can’t find such a button. I joined the UC in 1974 and was an active member at the time of Yankee Stadium. However, due to health issues, I was unable to attend or participate in the activities prior to the event.
