From Caterpillar to Butterfly: Experiencing the Miracle

In one of True Mother’s recent sermons, she talked about the Monarch butterfly and the miracle we can observe in its life and transformation. This was very exciting for Unificationists in San Leandro, California, because it is one of the major areas where thousands of Monarchs stop on their migration path to Mexico.

The Principled Academy kindergarten class in San Leandro heard about True Mother’s interest in Monarch butterflies from their teacher, Unificationist Myrna Lapres. Soon after, one of the kindergarten students found a caterpillar on the school grounds. The entire class adopted this caterpillar and watched its progress day by day as it made its chrysalis and then burst out to become a beautiful butterfly. They were all so excited and experienced the depth of wonder that True Mother described when talking about the Monarch butterfly.
