The Key to Great Blessings
Our Heavenly Parent has given us the greatest gift—the gift of life—and in that the potential to create a life, family and community we love. The gift of life, according to True Father, can be broken down into three great blessings which represent the three greatest milestones in our spiritual development. These are: first, to become individuals of integrity; second, developing loving families of our own; and third, stewardship over the earth. In reality we don’t fulfill the three blessings one at a time, but each are a lifelong journey in themselves. Here are some resources to enrich your journey:
A Special Kind of Magic: Choice is Power
As we focus on the first blessing—to be fruitful—we realize that life is a series of choices, and if we can train ourselves to choose wisely, we eventually develop characters of integrity with a great capacity to love. Here are a few simple choices we can make on a daily basis that will make a big difference in how we act, how we feel and ultimately, who we are.
4 Guidelines for Deciding When to Grow Your Family
The second blessing is to multiply. True Father says, “Our children are there to enable us to deeply experience the circumstances of the heart of God, the subject who created the entire universe through love. By having and loving these children we come to realize, ‘Ah, this is how God loves people!’”
Since many of us would list a happy, harmonious family as one of our biggest life goals, it’s easy to agree. Like all goals, however, one of the most challenging steps is the very first one, specifically, knowing when to take that step! If growing your family is on your mind, here are some areas to check in on personally, to guide you in finding the right time to start.
Little Ways to Make a Difference
The third blessing involves our higher purpose to serve the world. We don’t have to wait until we’re fully grown and have families of our own to do this! Here are some ideas for making a difference in your day-to-day life.

Thanks for the nice presentation on the Three Great Blessings. It is well-stated to say that these blessings have to be developed throughout our entire lives. However, I would say that becoming an individual of integrity is the foundation for being a true husband or wife, and a true parent.
