College Life My Way
Navigating a society where freedom from “rules” is celebrated—especially in college—it’s tough to uphold a set of values that don’t always line up with the “norm”. Hot topics among college-aged Unificationists may include, “What do you do if your friends offer you a drink?” or “How do I explain the fact that I don’t date?”
At the start of our independent, adult lives, it’s not always easy to make healthy decisions and to live conscientiously, dedicated to our values and to our Heavenly Parent. Miwa, a young Unificationist attending college in New Jersey, shares her thoughts on the matter and describes her day-to-day life. From following her passions and dreams to developing her friendships, Miwa has created a path for herself on which she can be herself and grow herself. Miwa’s insight is that by doing so, she is actually enriching her relationships with others, rather than being alienated. “What I want to focus on is improving myself and growing myself… When I’m trying to relate to people as who I am, I can connect to people even though our values and interests are different.”

Good report. Interesting your picture of young woman eating an apple with many bites. She must’ve reached direct dominion, right?

The most important issue in college is to understand what is being taught. If we cannot connect DP with what is being taught…..well we have a problem….and it is very spiritual. Most students produce spiritual result….beside labs.. there is nothing but virtual reality. As to drinks and smoking I said only one thing…they lead to sexual experiences as a form of pressure reliefs. This is a false relief…..mark my words…get silly and pretend you are an idiot. It is safer.
