Donate to the Las Vegas Peace Center and Help Build True Father’s Dream
Dr. Michael Jenkins, Chief Financial Officer of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU USA) speaks from the International Peace Education center, where the God’s Hope for America tour group stopped along its route to all 55 Holy Ground in America. The visit included a special prayer and reflection on True Father’s last four years of his ministry, which were largely focused in Las Vegas. True Father gave much attention and energy to this city—a city known to be a challenge to families and marriage—to turn it around, break down barriers and build a lasting force for good here as a beacon of God’s truth and light to the world.

As an American Movement, we have a special opportunity to contribute to True Father’s legacy by donating to the construction of the Peace Center in Las Vegas. True Father initiated this project in the final years of his life and was filled with the vision to make Las Vegas known as a center of God’s love and truth instead of a city catering to the physical and selfish desires of human beings. In 2011, he personally directed the purchase of the Peace Center site. The vision was to create a major educational institution where world leaders would be inspired by the worldview of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) and its associated organizations, while enjoying the region’s natural and man-made wonders such as the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, and Las Vegas itself.
When finished, the building will house a convention center, a digital museum of True Father’s life, an education center, hotel rooms, a restaurant, and café. The education and conference center will be accessible to world leaders and youth, in one of the most popular vacation and business destinations in the world. Las Vegas is a major crossroads with the potential to touch the whole world, and when finished, this facility will be a flagship for major workshops and meetings hosted by Unificationists.
When purchased, the site was a 135,400 square-foot warehouse at 6590 Bermuda Road situated on six acres of land near McCarran International Airport. Now, it is poised to become a major epicenter for the expansion of God and True Parent’s mission and a monument to the ideal of world peace.
The grand opening ceremony is set for this fall. The framework and exterior is nearing completion, and the interior is soon to be under way. The more donations, the more we are able to expedite the process.
