Our blog series, “Sacrifice, Compassion, and Global Change,” gets into communism’s impact in the West. Father Moon said, “Communism does its utmost to destroy democracy and Christian-based family values. They lure the young with drugs and stir them with anti-authority values in order to bring disharmony to family life. They also alienate men and women from each other. …In particular, free sex, homosexuality, the lesbian movement and other such phenomena destroy human rights and dignity. …In this way, Christian society is ruined.” Strong words, but statistics show that he was right.

Our video this week is entitled, “The Only Begotten Daughter Breaks Our Concepts.” True Father broke our concepts. He gave us confidence in who we are. He galvanized us. When True Mother said, “Next month, I will speak at Madison Square Garden,” we thought, “Impossible!” But her message was straight from True Father: “Give up your concepts. The world will listen to God’s only begotten Daughter. If you believe in me, we will fill the Garden. Have confidence in God, and in the Principle, and in yourselves.”

Thursday’s Holy Marriage Blessing podcast, takes us “Beyond Individualism.” When cultures reach the point of fruition, they fall by the same temptation that ruined Adam and Eve. It happened when Jesus came and it is happening today. It begins when people focus on their own happiness and religions think they are helping the world by re-defining salvation accordingly. The Holy Marriage Blessing offers a way forward.
