Welcome to True Parents Way!

Our blog series continues with “Moses and the Super Bowl.” This year’s Super Bowl was truly thrilling, gripping, emotional and, how shall I put it? …superficial. As healthy to the spirit, as chips are to the stomach. The true nation does not settle for superficiality while Satan destroys lives. Where are those young men and women’s lives heading? Who is caring for their hearts? The true nation is built around the family, and the family is built around parents of purity and fidelity. The Mosaic Law was that of parents: “You must not live according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you.” Obedience to this law is simple: abstinence before marriage, fidelity in marriage. When the Super Bowl celebrates this, what a transformation will come!

In our Tuesday video, I present “A Circle Around Father and Mother.” Because external form reflects internal nature, our political government will reflect our self-government. If we are a people of true love, so will be our government. Father Moon said, “We need to form a people; then, centering on that people, we should complete the kingdom of heaven on earth that can be governed by the constitution of Heaven’s nation. The foundation of this nation is true love.” True love is rooted in thefamily, and the family has laws of heart. Our constitution institutes these family laws as the law of the land, in which, as Father Moon put it, “all blessed families are to stand in a circle horizontally around Father and Mother.”

Our Holy Marriage Blessing podcast is entitled, “Korea is Our Motherland.” We refer to Korea as the father nation, and so did Reverend Moon. But he was always sex-inclusive, and he at times referred to Korea as the motherland. This week’s podcast will explore what he meant by this.
