Our blog series continues with “From Africa with Love.” True Parents’ ministry embraces the vertical and horizontal, the spirit world and physical world. “The spirit world is one step ahead of us,” True Father said, “breaking open the age of the peace kingdom.” True Mother ministered to spirit world on Goree Island, “so that Africa can realize the dream of one human family centered on Heavenly Parent, and become the light and lamp of the world.” Next month she will minister to the Olympian youth and their governments at YongPyong with that light and the lamp of the world shining through her. 

In our Tuesday video, Masha Stoertz presents “The Nation of Freedom.” The American Declaration of Independence implies that having rights and freedom leads to happiness, but this is not so. The “freedom” to do whatever one desires can lead to unhappiness when one’s desires are selfish. Selfish desires lead to addiction to objects that forever tempt and never satisfy. As the 20 million plus Americans addicted to opioids can testify, this is neither happiness nor freedom. The Cheon Il Guk Constitution provides a radically deeper spiritual and moral foundation.

Our Holy Marriage Blessing podcast is entitled, “Love Comes from Your Partner.” True Father spoke mysterious words: “The basis of love is not one’s own self. ‘Love comes from me’ are the words that Satan has been exploiting.”  To the contrary, he says, “Our spouse is the owner of love.” What does this mean for marriage? What does it mean for society? If we lived this way, what would the world be like? And why did he say, “This is the only place in all heaven and earth where we can find the power to overcome Satan’s world”?
