Divine Principle Seminars in 2016

“The 7-Day Divine Principle seminar provided an amazing experience,” said Abdul, one of 32 Unificationists and guests who attended the recent 7-day Divine Principle Seminar held at the International Peace Education Center in Las Vegas on Jan 3, 2016. “It polished our minds and increased our understanding of God, deeply and spiritually.”

Participants were refreshed amidst the beautiful landscape as they heard amazing content, formed close bonds, and experienced God in new and profound ways. Kinuyo Dunni shared, “I felt my understanding of the Divine Principle was deepened. This seminar showed me how to view creation and human history from the viewpoint of the heart of God as our Parent.”

The International Peace Education Center provided the perfect atmosphere. An average of two seminars a month and one lecture training session per quarter is planned for the year with upcoming dates already scheduled and open for registration. With luxury accommodations, a dedicated staff who prepared rooms and meals, and the proximity to area landmarks, it was the perfect setting for the spiritual renewal that many experienced. Participants enjoyed a trip to the Hoover Dam, rode a boat out onto Lake Mead, and made excursions to the Las Vegas strip and the Grand Canyon. Many experienced awe and gratitude at being able to experience God’s creation. The night sky provided a breathtaking display, perfect for stargazing after a day full of reflection.

The seminar dug deep into topics of concern including the Blessing Ceremony, creating true families, and what it means to become a Tribal Messiah. Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, Continental Chairman of FFWPU USA, visited on the second day to share True Parents vision for Las Vegas, explaining the city’s importance and the reason the Peace Center was built. For guests, this provided even more of a framework for why the educational seminars are held in the heart of Las Vegas.

Rev. Ken Doo, Pastor of the Las Vegas Family Church, invited the participants to join in the local year end celebration, where they enjoyed an exciting game of yute, a traditional Korean new year’s game, and a midnight prayer around a campfire.

Participants were eager to share their thoughts and expressed excitement that more workshops would go on throughout the year, meaning more opportunities for others to have this experience. Emiko Cunningham, a Young Unificationists who also helped as a team leader for the seminar, said “Coming to Las Vegas gives the opportunity for fresh ideas and great chances for new people lecturing. The facility is awesome and close to True Parents’ heart.”

Get inspired; get recharged; register today for upcoming seminars and experience your spiritual rejuvenation at the beautiful Peace Center in Las Vegas.

Makes me happy that recently our movement is really teaching our members to appreciate the creation and environment! Everyone has their own unique way of doing it.
Now let’s encourage everyone to drive electric vehicles too haha! I will never go back to gas, driving an EV is just too fun, it’s quick and you save so much money! ⚡️
