This posting could have used considerable editing, especially for repetition and for the placement of the sentence about the unlikelihood of the college reopening next fall.

Anyway, the bottom line, given that unlikelihood, is that current students must either transfer to another college or drop out of college, at least until Barrytown reopens.
It is quite important that students who wish to transfer fill out the application for government aid as soon as practical, although the actual deadline for doing so is June 30, since in some states the total available aid is limited. The application, which is quite complicated, must be filled out by the student, with some pages to be filled out by his or her parent (s). To obtain an application, go to fafsa.ed.gov.

Thanks to Dr. Balcomb for investing so much time and energy for the sake of the Barrytown students, and best wishes for all.

This report sounds sad, yet realistic and very fair to the students and their families involved. Transferring to Las Vegas would be a great option. The CARP Community is very vibrant with many opportunities for involvement and growth. Best Wishes for your decisions, ahead! And
Best wishes to the administrators in gaining the funding!
